“Hello TruTribe!

Corie Richter here, Certified Nutrition Coach and new team member at the Health Bar.  TruFusion has brought me on to revamp the menu at the health bar, and also to be a tool to help guide you to make better nutritional choices.  I have been a chef for many years but health and nutrition are my true passion.  My philosophy is that you can have healthy and flavorful at the same time.  I also believe you do not have to be a master chef or spend hours in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal.  I am excited to bring flavorful, nutritious food with an exciting spin to the TruTribe! Our Apple Power Bowl is full of flavor. Providing an excellent source of protein with quinoa and raw cashews.  Quinoa is a complete protein that is high in fiber and key minerals.  The bowl features a healthy serving of kale, which is packed with antioxidants and high in potassium and vitamins K, C, and A. The bowl is topped with an apple cider vinaigrette made in-house with Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar.  This vinaigrette is lower in fat than your average dressing and because Bragg’s vinegar is raw and unfiltered it contains health boosting antioxidants and enzymes.  The combination of all of these packs a powerful punch.

The Sweet Chili Salmon Bowl will leave you feeling satisfied even after the toughest of workouts.  A blend of brown and wild rice provides healthy whole grains to leave you feeling satisfied longer.  Served with roasted sweet potato, onion, carrot and zucchini, to give you a full serving of vegetables.  This bowl is also dressed with the Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinaigrette, then topped with sweet chili smoked salmon.  Salmon is a great lean protein choice that provides Omega-3 fatty acids, Selenium, and vitamins B6, B12, and D.

For a new twist on breakfast try the Breakfast Quinoa.  Made with quinoa, almond milk and almond butter, it will provide you with enough protein and carbohydrates to keep you running for hours.  We add cinnamon, cardamom, apples and dried cranberries to give you that all-around warm feeling.
