[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]An hour and a half outside of the city, the Redstone Dune Loop Trail is a mini-vacation worth taking. Looking like Red Rock National Park but hosting far less visitors, hikers are free to climb all over the hundreds of nooks, crannies, and caves without many crowds. Rock climbers rejoice!

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Spend a day meandering through the canyons of White Domes Trail at the Valley of Fire. Almost looking air-brushed, the canyon walls aren’t the only site to see. You may even stumble upon the remnants of a 50-year-old movie set along the way.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With the city to one side and Lake Mead on your other, the River Mountain Hiking Trail is one for the books. During this switchback-filled hike it’s pretty typically to see bighorn sheep grazing near by, and once you reach the overlook, there is a spectacular view of Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Debatably the most fun of the hikes on our list is the Goldstrike Canyon Hot Springs hike. Requiring ropes to get through parts of the rugged terrain, this rigorous hike opens up into mini hot spring pools before finally widening into the Colorado River with a unique view of the Hoover Dam form down below. Mingle in the meeting point of the warm hot spring and the cold Colorado for a tantalizing treat.
