We asked instructor and nutritionist Sammie Mack to give us a list of her favorite healthy options in the city, so in no particular order, here are her top 10 places to eat that are sinfully delicious AND healthy.

[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”10″][vc_column_text]If you haven’t yet been to Vegenation. Go…right now! Their claim to fame is “fresh global street food that makes you feel really damn good,” and boy are they right. With menu items like Pho-King-Delicious and plants draping from the wood-based decor, Vegenation offers a 100% plant-based dining experience in an adorable, uplifting and earthy downtown spot. The best part? They are fully committed to doing good for the environment and the people by supporting local farms and implementing innovative eco-conscious ideas to everything they do. Lyfe Kitchen
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]New kid on the block Lyfe Kitchen is a top contender on the healthy places to eat list. With a streamlined but varied menu and modern decor, it’s a great place to grab a healthy bite to eat after shopping at The District. There’s even a patio for you to enjoy the sunshine while you grub. FYI: They even serve brunch on the weekends until 2PM. (Yes, with alcohol, too.)
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Skinny Fats
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The best of both worlds, Skinny Fats has something to offer everyone. With two sides to the menu- one ‘healthy’ and one ‘happy’ (or unhealthy)- diners can make the decision on how good they want to be that day. If you want to be healthy but your friend does not, there’s no argument on where to dine.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Panevino
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Named ‘Best Italian Restaurant’ in Las Vegas, Panevino also made it to Sammie’s list of healthy places to eat in Sin City due to an entire section of plant-based menu items. That list includes their Brown Rice Ball Falafel Vincenzo’s Style which is described as ‘baked organic brown rice balls filled with falafel cream and roasted bell peppers, on a bed of creamy vodka-tomato sauce’… Need we say more?
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Greens & Proteins
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We’re always down for our “favorite foods with a healthy twist,” so lucky for us, Green & Proteins has three locations across the Las Vegas valley. With drool-worthy bison and ostrich burgers, pizzas less than 320 calories, and grilled vegetable wrap with a walnut cilantro pesto, you can’t go wrong with any item on this menu.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Krayvings
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]As the last stop before you head out to Red Rock Canyon and the first stop back into town, Krayvings is the prime spot for protein-packed pre- and post-hike meals. Menu items include the Roasted Beet & Walnut Wrap and the Get Skinny freshly squeezed juice. With a tagline of “feel good food,” Krayvings just gets us.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Daily Kitchen and Wellness Bar is a new American restaurant in Green Valley. Some of their favorite dishes include the DK Breakfast Wrap with organic eggs, turkey bacon, sweet potato, jack cheese, and fire-roasted salsa and the Soba Noodle Bowl with soba noodles tossed in a ginger sauce, spinach, asparagus, avocados, toasted sesame seeds. A second location in Summerlin is currently undergoing remodel but is set to re-open this spring.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Of course Sammie couldn’t forget to include our very own TruHealth Bar where you can snag a healthy snack or smoothie without even leaving the studio. While our smoothies tend to be the main hits, if you haven’t tried one of the TruFusion Energy Bars warmed up, you’re totally missing out.
